As a photographer, my goal is to provide you with an unforgettable experience that is tailored specifically to your needs, desires, and comfort level. The Boudoir photography experience should be empowering and enjoyable, and I strive to make it just that.

The consultation is a crucial part of the process, as it allows us to discuss your vision, expectations, and any concerns you may have. This is a judgement-free zone and I am here to guide and support you throughout the entire process.

I limit the number of clients I take on each month to ensure that each person receives the time, attention, and quality they deserve. This also allows me to deliver your photos in a timely manner, without compromising on quality.

Remember, this is more than just a photo shoot. It's an experience that celebrates you and your individuality. I am here to capture your beauty, confidence, and essence in a way that makes you feel comfortable and beautiful.

• 1 to 2 Hour Makeup and Hair Makeover session with a hair and makeup artist who will get you ready for your session and pamper you every step of the way. While you’re getting beautified, we will chat a little and get to know the “why” behind your boudoir Experience

• 2 to 3 Hour Boudoir Experience

• Direction and posing to make sure you get the best photos

Some ​Boudoir Misconceptions

Boudoir is one of the most overthought and underappreciated forms of photography. Wrought with misconceptions. 

 

- It's all about fancy lingerie

With boudoir photography having many broad definitions and examples it is easy to feel that way. But it certainly isn’t! Instead, it is all about you, the client, our subject, our muse for your boudoir experience. 

While yes, lingerie can be incorporated into your session, it does not need to be “Fancy” or anything you wouldn’t normally wear (though trying something new is always encouraged!). With many of my clients they bring their favorite tried and true pieces or their partner's favorite button-down shirt. No need for fancy matching set’s unless you want them. some of my clients favorite images are a tee shirt and bikini bottoms. 

 

- Its all about sex appeal.

Sexual attractiveness or sex appeal is an individual's ability to attract other people sexually, and is a factor in sexual selection or mate choice. The attraction can be to the physical or other qualities or traits of a person, or to such qualities in the context where they appear. The attraction may be to a person's aesthetics or movements or to their voice or smell, among other things. The attraction may be enhanced by a person's adornments, clothing, perfume or style. It can be influenced by individual genetic, psychological, or cultural factors, or to other, more amorphous qualities. Sexual attraction is also a response to another person that depends on a combination of the person possessing the traits and on the criteria of the person who is attracted. in short we all have sex appeal!

- It is just about getting naked.

Stop! No, uh-uh, nope! Boudoir is about showcasing you, clothed or unclothed! While many of my clients decide they do want fully nude images it certainly isn’t all of them, and that is totally good too!

Many clients prefer implied nudity (think nude, but under a sheet, or behind a sheer shirt or dress, or your form shaded with heavy shadows). My focus is to ensure you are 100% comfortable with your level of nudity and that you will be proud of your images for the rest of your life.  

 

- I have to be skinny and fit to do boudoir.

You don’t have to look like a “model” to experience a luxury boudoir experience. Models are like athletes, its their career, they train for it, they diet for it, they exercise for it, it is their job every single day. But that’s not reality, and neither is a magazine cover.  The vast majority of my clients are everyday women, moms, doctors, lawyers, cancer survivors, a divorcee, you name it. Some are Skinny some are curvy, some have scars and stretch marks and some don’t. All of them are 100% uniquely beautiful.
